We can create large scale posters and canvases from printed originals, negatives, transparencies or digital files.
The canvas prints and photo posters or enlargements are printed using our 60” (1.5metre) wide, 12 colour pigment ink, large format printer. The large color gamut provided by the 12 inks produces brilliant colors. The addition of gray and photo gray helps to create smooth gradations and less graininess, creating a crisp monotone output.
CopyWrite prefers to work with digital files, but can also work with negatives, slides, or photo prints. Using a high quality scanner, most images can be enlarged to any size.
Our advice is to shoot using your camera’s highest setting, so that you won’t be disappointed when you have that ‘moment in time’ captured on your wall
Canvas Prints
Printed on high quality cotton canvas, you can choose either a matt or satin finish. You have a choice of either 30mm or 40mm stretcher frames. Frames are made by our company, which enables us to make it to a size that suits your photo. The canvas is hand stretched around the frame, then a coating of a UV-protective sealant is applied. A superb canvas print is guaranteed.
When choosing your photo to print on canvas, remember that a portion of the image will be wrapped around the edge of the frame. If the image does not allow for this then we will suggest a white or coloured border to compliment your image. Using a computer we’ll visually show you how your photo will fit on the frame to achieve the best result. A PDF can be sent via email for viewing.
We can crop your image and if needed also perform photo touching or enhancing.
